I left Swanwick Marina last year for a trip along the south coast. This ended up taking me back to Levington on the river Orwell when I had serious mechanical issues.
I spent the winter sorting the issues and added a few improvements to the job list. Then I was offered work at Haven Ports Yacht Club over the summer. This just about covered my mooring fees for the summer.
I’ve since spent a summer doing a major galley (kitchen) upgrade, as well as a list of other jobs. Of course there’s still more to do … there always is.
